Microneedling cost estimator

Microneedling is priced per session, but results come from a course. Choose the treatment, the areas and the number of sessions to see what the whole course typically costs.

Which areas?

Choose as many as you like. Each area adds to the price of every session.

How many sessions?

BHSkin typically recommends 4 to 6 sessions, four to six weeks apart.

Many practices take 10–20% off a pre-paid package — about $800–$1,980 for this course.

This is a typical range, not a quote. Your price depends on the device, how much skin is treated and how many sessions your skin needs — all of which is assessed in person. Bring this estimate to your consultation as a starting point.

What changes the price

  • The kind of microneedling. RF devices cost practices far more to run than a microneedling pen, and PRP adds a blood draw and processing to every session.
  • How much skin is treated. Adding the neck, chest or another area adds to the price of every session in the course.
  • How many sessions. Results build over a course, so the course total is the real cost — not the price of one visit.
  • Where you are. Los Angeles sits toward the top of these ranges: standard sessions there commonly run $400–$550.
  • Packages. Pre-paid courses are often 10–20% cheaper per session than paying as you go.

Common questions

How much does microneedling cost?
A single session of standard microneedling on the face typically costs $250 to $550 in the US, with Los Angeles toward the upper end at around $400 to $550. Adding PRP brings a session to roughly $450–$850, and RF microneedling runs $750–$1,800. Because results build over a course, the total matters more than the session price: four standard sessions typically come to $1,000–$2,200 before any package discount.
How many microneedling sessions will I need?
BHSkin typically recommends 4 to 6 sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, for texture, fine lines and enlarged pores. Deeper acne scarring can take more. Collagen rebuilds gradually, so improvement comes over the course rather than after a single visit.
Why does RF microneedling cost so much more?
RF microneedling delivers radiofrequency energy through the needles to heat deeper layers of skin. The devices and single-use tips cost practices far more than a standard microneedling pen, and the treatment is aimed at harder problems — significant scarring and loose skin — so it is priced accordingly. Courses are often shorter, at around three sessions.
Is microneedling covered by insurance?
Almost never. Microneedling is treated as cosmetic, including when it is used for acne scars, so expect to pay out of pocket.
Are microneedling packages cheaper?
Often. Many practices discount a pre-paid course by around 10–20% per session, and the estimator shows what that would mean for the course you've chosen. Before paying up front, check what's included and whether unused sessions can be refunded.
Can this tool give me a quote?
No. It shows typical market prices so you know roughly what to expect and can compare quotes. Your actual price depends on the practice, the device and how many sessions your skin needs, which is decided at a consultation.
